Automatic Membershiip Pledge feature added to website

Pursuant to recommendations made at the General Parish Assembly held on September 25, a New automatic Pledge Membership button has been added to our website to help members keep current on their pledges without having to write a check or bring cash to church each week. You will find the Paypal "SUBSCRIBE" button on the site with a drop down menu of Pledge Level categories. We hope that this new feature will make Pledge fulfillment easier for parishioners and more regular for the Parish. Since fees are charge for this service, pledge levels have been rounded out.

For those who do not wish to use the Paypal service, but still would like to pay their pledge automatically, here are the steps to make a donation or a pledge electronically to the Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Protection:

1. Log in to your checking account

2. Go to the tab: Pay Bills

3. Go to the section : Add a new payee

4. Enter: Payee Name " Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Protection" (usually is not going to fit the full name in this section)

5. Enter your name as an account number, linking the first and the last name with under-slash

6. Enter Payee address: 59 E. 2nd Street, New York, NY 10003

7. Enter Payee Phone number: 212-677-4664

8. Set up a one time online payment or a recurring payment

9. Schedule payment

Because the Cathedral is not a known payee by the bank, the bank will make the payment by sending to the church a paper check on your behalf.
