VIDEO: Special Guests from Romania and Belarus at the Cathedral

On Sunday, November 27, 2011. Fr. Gheorghe Geana from Peatra Neamts, Romania, and Sister Anya from Minsk, Belarus were our guests. Fr Gheorghe is the father of our parishioner Bogdan Geana and his wife Soook, who baptized their first born child, Damian on November 26. Sister Anya is from the Monastery of St. Elizabeth the Grand Duchess & New Martyr in Minsk, Belarus, and is visiting New York to raise funds for the charitable works of the convent with homeless youth and elderly in Minsk. After the Liturgy a film crew from Georgian television interviewed our clergy about Georgian immigrants to New York and the Cathedral's ongoing ministry to them.
